Davos Space Day 2027

Why we founded Davos Space

In 2027, Davos finally has a home for Space.

Every January, Davos becomes one of the most concentrated gatherings of decision-makers in the world. In 2026, nearly 3,000 participants from 130 countries — including 64 heads of state and government and around 830 CEOs and chairs — attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, while an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 more took part in over 1,000 independent events across the town.

Yet Space has never had a home of its own there.

Space is entering a new phase. Commercial markets are maturing, capital is moving into the sector, and governments increasingly treat Space as strategic infrastructure. Advances in AI, data, connectivity and on-orbit capabilities are changing both the opportunities and the competitive landscape.

Davos Space was founded to bring Space to the forefront of the global economic, political and strategic conversation — where Space meets capital, industry and global influence. 2027 is our inaugural year.
